THE QUESTION
What does the future feel like when it remembers where it came from?
The Mbengs begins with family: love, irritation, inheritance, humour and the strange weight of returning home. At its centre is a grandmother whose grief has hardened into control, and children who help her let go.
The production uses a reference-locked generative animation pipeline, location maps, story spines, approved stills and a disciplined editorial system to keep the world coherent across episodes.
